Our mission in Omaha and Bellevue, Nebraska.
Mission outreach for the Sudanese people living
in Omaha, and Bellevue, Nebraska, is preaching the
Gospel of Jesus Christ to the poor and to bring hope to the hopeless.
Two million men, women and children have been killed in Sudan's civil war, one of African's largest.
The suffering for the Sudanese people is now being fulfilled according to the written
prophecy from the word of God.
"Woe, to the land shadowing with wings [reference to insects of the regions] along the rivers of Cush,[Sudan] which sends envoys by sea in papyrus boats over the waters. Go, swift messengers, to a people tall and smooth-skinned, to people feared far and wide, an aggressive nation of strange speech, whose land is divided by rivers. All people of the world, you who live on the earth, when banner is raised on the moutains, you will see it, and when a trumpet sounds, you will hear it. This is what the Lord says to me: " I will remain quite and will look on from my dwelling place, like shimmering[clear heat] heat in the sunshine, like cloud of dew in the heat of harvest."
For, before the harvest, when the blossom is gone and flower becomes a ripening grapes, he will cut off the shoots with pruning knives, and cut down and take away the spreading branches. They will all be left to the mountains birds of prey and to the wild animals; the birds will feeds on them all summer, and wild animals all winter.
At that time gifts will be brought to the Lord Almighty from a people tall and smooth-skinned, from a people feared far and wide, an aggressive nation of strange speech, whose land is divided by rivers- the gifts will be brought to Mount Zion, the place of the Name of the Lord Almighty." [Isaiah 18:1-7] [NIV]
The Sudanese travel thousands of miles in search of a safe place to shelter, they are refugees inside their own country. Many Sudanese who were displaced from Sudan by civil war have moved from one country to another.
The Sudanese who escaped the horrors of war face the added hardship, and cultural shock of living in the United States and other parts of the world. The exposure to 20 years of civil war and the need to adapt quickly to a new culture can be overwhelming. This is based on where they are located and the type of culture in which they are exposed. The conflict of the last two decades has caused many Sudanese to lose all hope of ever finding peace or a place to call home.
Most of them through trial and hardship have lost their first love for God. They were worshippers of God, and they were ones who touch God's heart when they pray. This love for God is in critical condition, because they have lost hope. The very things the encounter during their daily lives; pains of the thousand of years, not feeling as if they belong, depression, and loneliness prevent them from doing normal activities for God. The stress and struggle to survive prevent them from opening their hearts to God, who can restore hope to the hopeless. Some of them have expectations of returning to God and nurture a desire to restore their love for Him. However, the problems of a thousand years; war, pain, death, diseases, and hunger make God slip from the hearts of so many people as they search for long lasting peace.
God has brought the Reverend Isaac Luk's Christian Hope Ministry Outreach Inc. to Nebraska. Nebraska has one of the largest populations of Sudanese refugees, with 10,000 families rebuilding their lives within its borders.
We are working tirelessly with the Sudanese, preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, in Omaha, and Bellevue, NE. We have been involved with the organizations providing services for 8years. We have Children's Ministry for Bible Schools, in the Omaha Nebraska area. We teach boys and girls, as young as 10 years old the wisdom and guidance of God. These children spread the word of God to parents who have not known his comfort, and after seeing the change in their children, they are drawn to God. Those people who could not commit to God because of the war in Sudan are able to embrace His teachings through the new life they have found in Nebraska and the hard work of this ministry.
We preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to bring more souls to God. We wish to open our arms to embrace those Sudanese who were raised as Christians, but through oppression and violence, were converted to Islam during the civil war. We pray for the hundreds of Sudanese that were beaten or even killed for refusing the orders of their oppressors to follow the Islamic faith. We preach to the Sudanese and tell them that Jesus is the direction, and only way to God. When they come to him they make him the lord of their hearts.
As a ministry we continue to work with the Sudanese communities and others in the United States, and around the world. Spreading the message of God to the Hopeless and to embrace what He is doing through this ministry.
Missions:
We have open our arms to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Sudanese people in Omaha and Bellevue, Nebraska, and around the world, to share in the commission of " go into all the world and preach the Gospel, making disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit." (Mt. 28:19)
Sudan:
We have a vision of winning few souls in Sudan, and the world for Christ. Sudan is located in the darkest part of Africa, where people feed on $ 1 a day. They can not even afford to buy a cup of water to drink. People get their drinking water from more polluted water sources like rivers, where human remains killed in the Sudanese longest civil war, and those who die from internal conflicts are dumped into the water sources. These pollutions to water sources in Southern Sudan had made it more venerable to diseases, such as cholera, Typhoid, and mostly to the water bone- diseases for people to get infected from these diseases. As we are speaking, there is someone inside the Southern Sudan, who is at the point of death, because of these trocities. He/she do need to get help, but they can't get there on time to see a doctor. They travel hundreds of miles before they can see a doctor. Those people who are very sick are unable to walk long distances, so they can not reach to the hospital, or dispensaries. They die on their way to see the doctor, because they lack transportation. It is a different history to those of us who are fortune living in the U.S, because when we are sick we only need to remember to dial 9-11, and for sure help will be on the way to see our lovely doctors, but in Sudan it is a different case.
The people of Southern Sudan are double hungry for food and for God. They are double thirsty for water and for the Holy Spirit of God to comfort them, because of its conviction to the world of sins into righteousness, and of humans sinfulness in nature.
They are double naked for clothing, and resources, because they can not afford their prices. They are empty in the Spirit, because their faith is tasted by trials, and hardship. The Bible says, it is impossible to pleased God without faith.
"Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." [Hebrew 11:1]
And for us to understand these things of God, we must have faith and the Spirit of God to perceived the things not seen by human's eyes. The Bible says, what is made of flesh is flesh, and what is made of the Spirit is a Spirit. When you are sowing into this ministry, you're the faithful of God, and He will richly rewards you.
The people in Sudan have no medical expenses, or enough money to see doctors when they are sick. They live from hand to mouth. But you can make a different in their live, because you can listen to the voice of God. And this voice is telling you to give from the bottom of your heart, and to pray for them, so that God may take them out from the hands of their oppressors.

Southern Africa:
We have been reaching out to the orphans, the widows, the poor, which Jesus lamented in His word, "that when I was poor, you didn't give me food to eat, and when I was naked, you didn't clothed me, when I was in prison, you didn't visited me. And so depart from me, all who do the works of the evils."
This is the vision we have as a ministry, and as a body of Christ, to reach out to those who have no Hope in order to find Hope. We have been working with the orphans in Africa, the world's darkest in Southern Africa, where death is the scene of sorrow. And many people have lost their loves one, from HIV/AIDS, or from lack of medications. And because of these epidermic, children are the victims of HIV/AIDS.
It has killed one of their parents, or both, and due to these out cries, the remaining children are facing the consequences of loneliness, and oppression. As children, they are turn away, because they can not afford to earn a living on their own, in despite of the absence of their parents.
They have no one to consult for advice when they need help. This is when life is just a thread of sorrows as people's hope in God is dumped into darkest.
Do these situations touch you? If not then you can never understand what it means to live a life of an orphan. And if you have no parent around, you do understand what I mean, by living a life of an orphan. And as leaders, God has entrusted us with His work so that He may be glorified.

These are the kinds of people we are committing ourselves to help and to opened our arms so that they can be thankful in their hearts to their lovely Father, who is the God of the fatherless, and the motherless.
