We have learn that it is the first line of defense for a believer, because it alerts us in the spirit when something is about to goes wrong in the spirit. We have also learned that spirit discernment is control by a spiritual mind, that is lead through the help of the Holy Spirit. We have also learn that a carnal minded can not understand the things of God. For someone to understand the things of God, they have to yield their lives to God, they must surrender their lives to God, so that they can gain forgiveness of sins, through the blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ. So when we share about spiritual discernment, we are mainly talking about the spiritual war against the will of the devil. We should always be ready to defense our faith, through a holy living. The scripture says, that we should only defeat the devil through the testimonies of our faith in God. It takes faith to believe the word of God, even in the midst of trials. The truth is the word of God, and knowledge of the word of God is important to having a spiritual discernment. |
