Prayer of Jonah under the belly of the fish.
"From inside the Fish Jonah prayed to His God.
He prayed: " In my trouble I called to the Lord, and He answered me. From the depths of the grave I called for help, and you listened to my cry. You hurled me into the deep, into the very heart of the seas, and the currents swirled about me; all your breakers swept over me. I said, " I have been banished from your sight, yet I will look again toward your holy temple. The engulfing waters threatened me, the deep surround me, seaweeds was wrapped around my head. To the roots of the mountains I sank down, the earth beneath barred me in forever. But you brought my life up from the pit, O Lord my God." (Jonah 2: 1-6)
And now with the current Global financial Crisis, with thousands of people losing Hope in God what should you do to get help. It look like everything is falling aparts, with many people losing hope, and with all these burdens wrapped around your head, where will you turn? It was the same situation Jonah, had encountered with God, for his refusal to follow God's instructions, when he was told to go to Nineveh. He faced the consequences of his action. Jonah was covered with many problems:
- He was burried under the sea.
-He was buried under the depth of the grave
-The strong waters of the seas engulfed him that he could not breath.
-He was Isolated from human life, by living under the sea with wild creatures.
- He dived into the deep of mountains waters
- He was hidden into the very heart of the water.
All with all these situation, what did Jonah remember in order for him to get out from his current situations?
-Jonah prayed to God, who has the power to get him out from his problems.
- Jonah did not complain about his problems instead he relays his situations to God.
And because of his afflictions God heard his prayer, and he was delieved from all his currents problems.
Today, you may be seeing everything falling aparts with no hope of seeing things getting any better. Just remember what Jonah did, by faith ,and with God in your side, you will be deliver. Just wait and see God performing a miracle in your life. Trust in the Lord and He will give you the desire of your heart.
